This mural depicts a Tri-motor Ford airplane on the 1930's airmail route between Wichita, Kansas and Amarillo, Texas. The airplane is passing chimney rock, a well known formation in the Gloss Mountains south of Freedom, Oklahoma. Chimney rock is no longer in exsistance.

The mural was painted by Dr. Robert Palmer and UCO Students in 2001
